I was not aware that this was actually an academic subject, but it got me thinking. It occurs to me that the Philosophy of Science might vary from place to place. So here are my Global variations in the Philosophy of Science.Gimbal Locke wrote:...my Philosophy of Science class....
Europe:- A way to spend Billions proving that something tiny exists.
Africa:- A way to help feed people and bring electricity where there is none.
America:- A way to invent things which already exist, patent them then enter litigation.
Middle East:- A way to blow people up.
Far East:- A way to make things ever tackier out of plastic.
Australia:- A better way to keep beer cold.
