I haven't owned a television since I was 19; I left it in my old bedroom when I went off to uni and as far as I know it's still there. I can just about remember when having 20 channels was a big thing (I think I was the first kid in my class at junior school to have cable), but now you can get anything up to a thousand... while the amount of actual quality television being made has remained static.

And what the hell is Wolfram Alpha when it's at home, anyway?

No necro here, just wanting to vent about Wolfram again. I hadn't used the site in a while, and I just learned now you need to have 'Wolframalpha|Pro' in order to view any step by step solutions - it's one step closer to worthless for the average user :(.
