The Witchspace Lobster, of course!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

I've been having trouble starting any Assassin's missions. I have the "Ensure Be Soin enjoys a happy retirement in the Orramaor System", but I haven't been able to find him (although I didn't look for too long), nor have I had to kill any kind of rodent :). It also appears that there were some compatibility issues with Assassin's OXP although I can't seem to find exactly what that was now (from the thread http://bb.aegidian.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2763), is this still the case?

P.S. I've been trying to figure out (to no avail) how to nicely put URLS into forum posts, rather than my ugly copy and paste job above.

Well, it's the same as for marcusrg: just follow the instructions you were given. They are even quoted verbatim (twice!) in this very thread. Just follow them. :)

If you look at the date of the last post of that thread it should give you a clue. It is always good yo find the main thread that deals with the oxp and also for the latest entry regarding the issue. But yet that has been sorted now.

For URL's you will notice the URL button above the comment box. Press it then put an = nxt to the first url then put your URL directly next to the = where the X's are. Then in between the boxes [url]HERE and it should desplay like this!

Thanks Fatleaf :D ! I got the URL thing down now :wink: .

About the date, I did notice that it was a little old, but at the same time, I have the message about Be Soin in the Orramaor system, and I've never had to eliminate a rodent yet. Should I just be a bit more patient and keep looking for Be Soin at Orramaor?? I'd like to try something different as I've spent a lot of time with Random Hits, and with a *Deadly* rating now, I'm more than qualified :twisted: .

What did Nua'etou tell you about the mark? What was he flying? What location did he say he would be around? He is in the Orramaor system but not necessarily near the planet Orramaor in the system!

Honestly, I don't remember how or when I got him in my briefing. I think I had been perusing the eight a while back and that must have been when it happened, but I didn't snap to it right away. The other day I was looking at it and figured maybe it was some sort of mission for Random Hits, but when I did a web search on it, I found that it has to do with Assassin's Guild. So, apparently I'm a bit flaky about this mission and how it started :lol: .

I'm assuming since I have the briefing, the mission is active, so I should probably get back to Orramaor ASAP (I'm still in Galaxy 7, but in the north-central region). Will he try to attack if I'm near, or will I have to identify every ship I come across?

Yes as long as it is in your F5F5 missions and you have Assassins installed in your AddOns folder then it will be active. Go to Orramaor and... Lbh jbhyqa'g jnag zr gb tvir nal fcbvyref abj, jbhyq lbh! ... And there you have it! :mrgreen:

<Smivs posts a Random Hit contract.....>
"A contract for the herbicide of a verminous green pest who goes by the name of Fatleaf, sometimes Leafy. This bounder tried to get an innocent Commander to eliminate three upstanding pillars of society who thought him their friend. This task will not be easy, so a fee of 10 000Cr will be paid on successful completion. The weed can be found in the Dyjeztev system flying a nauseatingly green Cobra S9"
Commander Smivs, the friendliest Gourd this side of Riedquat.
