Well I manage to pick up 1 in a different way. I rescued a slave and recieved an invitation to recieve thanks. since it was the way i happened to be heading anyway I went. Had the meal and the credits, and was told it would be really nice if his other son had a look around my ship. What's the harm, right?

He had a large bag, and obviously there was a trumble that escaped. It ate my slaves that I rescued and also food i was trading and it grew to 5. Now I'm back to 1. It's cost me a fortune in escape pods.

Hi DanRSN, and welcome to the board.
There is a quick and easy way of getting rid of trumbles, but I won't give any spoilers other than to suggest you BBQ them

The lengths some Commanders will go to so they don't get fined by GALCOP for bringing in slaves.

Indeed, it's silly to try and avoid something that never happens in the first place.

There is no fine for bringing in slaves, there never was one, and there will never be one. There is, however, a fine for bringing out slaves. But this is best avoided by selling them.

Captn Murhp's Illegal goods tweak oxp changes it to some extend, iirc?

There is an OXP to change practically every single aspect of the game. However, as no two members of these boards use the same set of OXPs, it is always good to remember—and begin with—the basic, "vanilla" setup. Only because "vanilla" Oolite works as it does, do OXPs like the one by Capt. Murphy exist in the first place.

I have a confession to make: I loved my trumbles! No, not that way! They were so darn cute and the cooing they made was quite subduing, for awhile. Don't even want to recall their lamentations when I set them free.
