I believe the event horizon is situated around the on/off button of your PC

Oolite is definitely amazing. I was so happy when I discovered the first PC version, I think that was 1.63 or similar.
As Geraldine says, the OXP's REALLY bring it out and make it stand proudly that as other posts say, is NOT just another "clone". Sure we have all the fantastic functionality ELITE had and all these wonderful new functionality not to mention user add ons....OXP's are just fantastic. So easy to put on, copy them to the addon directory and if you don't like it, simply remove it from there...how easy is that.
Oolite is *THE* game for me, always will be just like ELITE was way back in 84. There is not one single other game I can say I have been playing since 84 on a regular basis.
I play Pioneer as well but I slowed down on that one, I think I need to wait several months now for major changes rather than nightlies and one a month. Another great development team they are.

May I extend my welcome as well Geraldine. I have said this before on this forum but Oolite is more than just the game it is a comOonity! A very good one that welcomes new people and questions very readily.

I am guessing either Glasgow or Dundee. But the fact that you can write makes me think it's not either of them! But rather confused about the "sunny" bit

Thank you Fatleaf for your welcome. It certainly took me long enough to get around to registering, but glad I did

Yes we do have some sun in Scotland y'know! There was at least 3 WHOLE DAYS last year........er
I mean last week, last week......yes, I am sure of it.....um I think.
And your incorrect with regards to Glasgow or Dundee, but correct in that I can indeed write,.....well sometimes, my eyes are not what they once were
My actual location is near Houston, or maybe I should say hOouston.

I remember those days
I am close to Glenfarg myself and there are a few other denizens around here also find ourselves huddled around the wee peat burning stove in Scotland. I got close to Houston whilst visiting my grandmother in Irvine (but isn't that just outside Glasgow
). From time to time Smivs (a very friendly gourd) passes through Edinburgh and a meet up is arranged.
