I've taken the liberty to add a hyperspace motor to the player version, even tough no hyperdrive is still fun, you have to hunt for wormholes yourself and go where you go.
As for speed, I've taken pains to make sure all specs are the same. Now, if only I could get the Shipyard file to work...

EDIT: The shipyard.plist file is working now. I love the Gecko! :D How come we could never buy it before?

Just a tought, but: what about having 2 versions of the Krait for sale: the one you have made available now could be renamed to something slightly different from just Krait, maybe 'Krait-W'/'Krait X' (not very creative, I know), then you could also have the non-hyperdrive one (just 'Krait'!) on offer, selling for maybe 20k less... ;)

I could do that... How about the Krait-HR1 (Krait Hyperspace Ryan 1)?

Alright, I have a question. Should I include Worms? Should I include the Constrictor?
If I do the worm, it will be ultra-cheap. No lasers but Pulse and (maybe) Beam. One weapon facing.
If I do the Constrictor, it will be tech-level 14 and up, and stupidly expensive. 5 million credits sounds just about right.

Status report:
So far More Core Player Ships OXP includes:
1 Cobra Mk3 variant
2 Cobra Mk1 variants
Krait
Krait HR-1
Gecko
Gecko HR-1
Mamba (pirate texture)
Mamba HR-1 (escort texture)
2 Python Variants
Sidewinder (Work in progress)


Edit: I am not going to include the Constrictor.

Please include the classic "miner" ships (Cobra 1, Transport, and Worm) -- these typically have a mining laser.

I already have the yellow Cobra Mk1, looks like I'm adding the Worm. Not sure about the Transports, though. I'll get to work on that...

Okay, the only ship I have left to code is the Transporter, if i decide to include it.
I really think the Gecko is a good ship... you guys should check it out when this OXP is done. :D
Basically, I'm really glad this OXP has turned out this way. I'll be recruiting members of the Honorable Guild of Test Pilots to help with last minute ship flying soon. 8)
