Mandoman, when you compose a post there is a selection of tags just above the box you type into. Simply click on the 'Img' box and you will get the two tags ( )appearing in your draught post. Simply copy and paste the URL of your image in between them.

I don't think its got to do with our forum, as the correct link appears when, for instance, quoting.
What I see is a redirect:

Ah, something logical. No wonder I couldn't do it. I'll TRY to remember that from now on.
I am pretty sure I have all the bugs worked out of the NovaBat model, so here is the newest version,

Please let me know if you see any really bad glitches, like being able to see through parts of the ship (dang normals).
Addendum:
I have already discovered a glitch. It won't even load up as an oxp in Oolite for me, right now. I'm removing it until I get it fixed. Sheesh!

It helps to have a period between the oxp name, and "oxp". Should work well, now.

I seem to misremember that, unless you become a registered imageshack user, all you can use is one of the two forum links provided. The direct link is blocked for all viewers that don't have an imageshack cookie.
I'm almost positive that if you upload any random image fo imageshack, even without registering, you should get the fabled, magic, imageshack cookie, which should then 'unfreeze' all those yellow frogs...
In the slightly likely event that the instructions above don't work, I'm afraid it's back to copying image location, opening a new browser tab, then pasting the image location onto the address bar...

Nope, I only get redirected. Ah, well... If it's their policy to try to force us to have their cookie, it's my policy to refuse - I'll rather keep seeing the frog.

Could you please update your first post with this download link? The OXP List entry links to that, so users are likely to click on the first download link they see...

Man, I'm about struck out on this one. It's changed. I'll try to remember that from now on.

I have posted a new link for the NovaBat, that has a slight correction. It seems that in several of my ships, I didn't list the "has_scoop" entry in shipdata.plist correctly. I also got it wrong in the shipyard.plist on some of them, so hopefully this version will have correct fuel scoop references for optimal ship performance. Sorry for the hassle.
