I've found that it's best to download ATI/AMD drivers manually from here. I don't know your exact ATI gfx card model, but normally you'll have to uninstall the existing gfx drivers, restart your machine, then find and run the new downloaded driver file. Then another restart will be needed.
This may be different if it's onboard gfx, of course.
