Hi Stormy... I presume you're trying the Tionisla Reporter OXP? Erehwon does not appear on the chart, hence the mission to find it.
From the mission text at Biorle: '
as the jump countdown hit two, some nutter in a Fer-de-Lance on injectors ran right across my bow. I pulled up hard on the 'stick to avoid the bastard... next thing I know, the bloody klaxon's wailing, and I'm in interstellar space... '
I hope that clue helps.

I think it will. I vaguely remember some similar trick in the original Elite when you wanted to battle thargoids. Thank you. I guess I missed reading the quote you posted..

How advanced is the space compass when it doesn't even show west on it?
That's so obvious I couldn't even see that one.
Note to self:
Make space compass that actually is a compass.
Which way is west anyway? Is it anywhere near the
"bad left side of ass"

I fixed it! Feel free to use my OXP or modify it in anyway you like it.

Very nice. After 1.76 I could actually make the compass look like that. Of course I will be making a CrayonHUD.oxp for those with exceptional taste.

Rejoice, for the wiki has returned to us.
Now to hunt up a few more mission OXPs to play with
