Re: [WIP] Staer9's Shipset (sort-of...)
I'm sorry, but I have been unable to continue the models because I have been on holiday, this is the first oppportunity I've had to use the internet and I will return to work on the shipset as soon as I get back.
I'm glad everyone likes them so far

Work is resuming,
I am currently re-making the cobra mk2-x because I've decided that I don't like it...

Re: [WIP] Staer9's Shipset (sort-of...)
Ok, it's been a while since I posted something, but thats because of getting bored with one ship, then starting another until I had about 4 ships on the go at once. Now I've finally finished one of the (the Iguana) and the others I have got stuck on.
The Iguana is in the first post but the Monitor and the Chameleon are here:
I'm quite happy with both models (the Chameleon texture hasn't even been started on yet) but I don't really like the red stripe on the Monitor. Anyone have any colour sceme ideas?

Those are some good-looking models! As for possible colour schemes, do a google image search for "chris foss": lots of yellow with black diagonals, and white with orange stripes and/or blocks ... they could be scuffed and grunged up of course, but they still look good to me!

I'm really liking the Iguana model. Very nice work and really looking forward to downloading the full set.
I like Chris Foss as-well - a yellow.orange with black stripes scheme also fits in with the colour of many RL monitor lizard species.

Re: [WIP] Staer9's Shipset (sort-of...)
This is turning into a rather nice set of ships Staer9.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Heres the new monitor texture:
I'm still not massively pleased with it (which is why it's still not in the first post)
But I'm also not entirely sure what it needs...
