Since that record was due to spammers, and I don't think there are that many regular active users, I don't think you'll have much luck. I would be interested to see how high we can get to naturally though... Clear the old record and start again, so to speak.
Maybe we need a Book of Oolite BB Records!
Some things we could include:
1. Most posts
2. Most spam caught
3. Least posts (100-way tie)

1 and 3 are easily found by clicking on the "Members" in the top right of the board. For example, I currently have the 47th highest post count on the boards. (Although, did some long-time board members lose post counts when the board got hacked? I can't remember...)

Rather embarrassingly, I seem to be the 11th most talkative person on the board, and expect to have a top-ten place soon!

I don't rank members by post count - I rank them by post relevance.

Another forum i was on used post count as a badge of honour. The amount of spam and nonsense on there posted by supposedly "intelligent" people was ridiculous. Think facebook and twitter rolled into one and that was about as deep as it got.

Please don't do that here...

OK, how the hell did I end up at number 5?

You shouldn't be such a prolific oxp maker! All that maintaining must take up a fair amount of posts. Add to that normal bb social posting and hey, high count!

It'd be easier to ask one of the Administrators to reset the "Most number of members" counter. They have that power (I'm pretty sure of it).

I'm also curious to know (unless I'm going mad) why RyanHoots and Dragonfire have swapped avatars?

This is quite sensible - I ended up at number two (despite having a year and a half off) because after the "Great Hack" Ahruman lost a lot of posts as did Aegidian (I joined after that portion of the database was lost so my postings remained intact) and I don't really know how. Granted, this is the Forum I spend the most time and YAH and Spam threads and low level moderation keeps up the number of posts - but I'm fully aware that I mostly generate innocuous noise, interrupted by the occasional good idea and/or piece of fiction and/or YAH ad...

(I'm often quite embarrassed by the number of posts compared to CML and his OXPs and Thargoid and Ahruman and Eric W, all who contribute considerably more to the game than I - and watch out of EV - No. 6 and no signs of slowing down - which is good - because he's a good presence to have on the board)

Swapped avatars? must be a server error... :D
If you want to go mad, compare our profile pages...

Sorry, I have to ask: What is the point of this silliness? Can we get back to the better quality discussions, please?
