Thanks for all the ideas. I am conferring with Wyvern over a possible means by which both her and my OXPs can remain named the "Wyvern".

The OXP is going to keep the Wyvern name (as is Wyvern's OXP), because of the following story element:

"Financial troubles within Dark Sky Enterprises, due to the Black Wyvern scandal, led DSE to sub-license the Wyvern name to a few independent ship builders, thus allowing them to use DSE technology and reputation at their discretion in return for a cut of the sales, as well as some very loose "design supervision" to ensure a protection of the "Wyvern" series' reputation."

So, to avoid confusion, both OXPs are COMPLETELY independent of each other. My actual OXP filename will be "Dark_Sky_Enterprises.oxp", but the ships will still be the "Wyvern" series.

You know, I think "Smaug" fits the bill. If the ship I'm thinking of gets chosen then a first-person dragon-like name would do nicely.

I like the name too, but again, we're sticking with Wyvern ATM.

In that case I officially take ownership of the 'Abraxas' moniker until such time as I can learn some modelling and skinning.....

Abraxas Alpha and Abraxas Omega - also known as Caddy Hunters (Clan Abraxas have a bone to pick with the Shulth's) ? Coming to a shipyard near you sometime not very soon at all.....

Maybe we could use some of these names for the models not chosen in the vote.
