Nice little ship. Are you planning on releasing them?

Interesting choice of colouration for the alternating panels...
Thanks.

Yes. Only a few more and then some beta testing to do first.

Nice to seep it bigger. Only the front window lacks a bit on features (read looks a bit 2D)

Have not got a name for it yet ,stats or a role. I originally designed it as something similar to a Hatchling hence the wings filename. Hopefully will have a mission to go with it

You have a thing for reversed wings?
Nice ship but I think it's to small for interstellar flight. Maybe as a shuttle...
BTW, it's not so hard as I thought:
Now to master that texturing&shading stuff.

Its not the wings that are reversed i just put the cockpit and boosters on backwards to mess with your mind
Yeah i liked the wings on my Dragonfly S.T after i created it was my favourate feature.
Congrats on first ship, wings would look better backwards though lol

Well I like both. Big transporters belong in stable worlds.

I always enjoyed Flash Gordon comics as a kid so I tried to model one of his rockets:
2725 vertices and 5414 faces.
There is no "optimize" or "simple" option in Wings. Texture was put together in 5 minutes.
Wish I have time to read
this and other similar threads. Will sure do one day. Now is the time for Griff or Simon to put some new screenshots and let our eyes rest from this.

I like - very retro!
Are you limited to 4 engine thrusts? Would it be possible to have lots of little ones coming out inline with what I presume was the rocket ring at the back of the dome?
A bit of Griffified normal mapping and lights and that would be sooper-dooper!

ah man, that's lovely
pity we can't simulate the cheap sparkler effect they used for the engines!
how's the game handle that many faces etc? i dunno if it's due to the rotation stuff, or my cack vid card but when i'm close to my Nuit station the game judders like mad unless i turn the shaders to "simple".

Thanks.
I'm running trunk and only tested it as a player ship. When using external views (as in screenshot) there is no fps drop. And I have crappy gf5200. Don't know how to add specific ship (not ships by role).
