Spamming tends to work on the blunderbuss principle ... it's not really what you might call "targeted marketing".

This is a problem I identified some time ago and it's why I always "name" my targeted spammer because Ahruman comes along, looks at the list, kills the 'bot - the ID becomes available again and an innocent is given the same membership ID - Starbug67 was not the 'bot that Disembodied initially tagged, but he has been given the same membership ID...

No, no, Starbug67 is perfectly all right! He just happened to join after the spammer 2797 was deleted, and got the recycled membership number. The original spammer was something calling itself "Tolopanets" and has already been crushed to an asterisk by the Big A ...
