Better than mine. The O's still catch the eye a little when scanning across, but that's because all the other characters are tall/thin ones whereas the roundness of the O makes it naturally wider.
It would be interesting to see how it looks with them a bit thinner (similar width to the other characters) as a comparison. But it's certainly getting there.

I'd still like to see a version with smaller, vertical oo's. I also seem to remember that something similar already exists in another ad, but I could be hallucinating that.

With a little GIMP jiggery-pokery I could probably keep the width of the blackness correct but narrow the central whitespace to keep the characters the same width - if you look, there's very little in it - two pixels by the time its scaled down to 256x128.
Lectures first though (and I'll try and do Cdr M's version too)

But I don't like it. Something is wrong with proportions.

How's this?

Sorry Dis, but it looks more like a colon in the middle of the word than a pair of O's.
Hmm... What about going slightly off-track and substituting in a pair of ю or something equivalent. Still has the "O" shape, but would appear more alien. (Yes, I know it's Cyrillic and not alien.)

There's always
using the ancient Terran day-naming system Oneday, Twosday, Threeday, Foursday, Fi'day, Sixerday and Se'enday (the only one that doesn't really work there is Wednesday/Threeday – the rest all fit fine ... ).

But that just wouldn't be Froody
Less keen on the stacked O's than the side-by-side ones, now I see them in print.

I think you're right. The best version is DaddyHoggy's from Sunday: FROODY'S in all caps. If there's any tiny detail to change it would be to make the Os just a smidgin bigger ... Os (and other curved letters) are usually just a tiny little bit taller than flat-topped letters, because of an optical illusion that makes them look smaller when they're the same size. (eh?)

Yes I think this is the best one. But I agree that a little adjustment of the O's might be in order.

the vertical OO one looked like 8-D in the middle, nice smiley in the logo.

I think I got there in the end...
An individual O is no wider than the widest letter (Y) and is the same height as the 'S' - so as Disembodied pointed out this makes them look the same height...
