I wonder at what point it is acceptable to use Google?

It's a matter of personal taste ... to be honest I'd probably be better off googling the thing rather than guessing episode titles!

I think maybe google might be best. Soz - didn't think it'd be this hard.
I obviously underestimate the encyclopaedic sci-fi knowledge that should be held by a community of people who play remakes of 1980s space games.

It appears to be something called Blake's seven. Never heard of it before.
It's a character called Avon talking to another character called Vila.
Didn't find the episode though.

I think the series was originally, due to a misunderstanding over the use of the apostrophe, called "Blakes' 7"
Still don't know what the episode was called though!

OK, I've slapped it into Google. Was the episode called "Weapon"?
(edit: putting the quote in quotes gets 4 hits; one of them – the top one – is this thread ...

That'd almost be good enough for a wikipedia citation <SarcMark>

OK then, me again: what is CASE NIGHTMARE GREEN, and why should we be worried?

CASE NIGHTMARE GREEN - colour of the Frogstar fighters?
and they're taking us to the Total Perspective Vortex?

No ... but the end result might be similar.

No replies?
I got curious and googled, but still am not there.
I can tell you that it's by Charles Stross, has something to do with a (planetary?) constellation, and was due to happen in 2007.
However, I haven't found out yet what it was that was about to happen, except that it is obviously frightening.

Well, Google will only get you so far! You can find out more if you read one of Stross's entertaining "Laundry" stories, some of which are available free online, e.g. "
Overtime" ...

In the meantime some more googling took me to
CASE GREEN, which may or may not be related. It was interesting, anyway.
EDIT: corrected the link. The darn Wikipedia produces "(" and ")" if you copy a link, instead of the correctly linkable "%28" and "%29"!

Interesting! And there's possibly a connection – although probably only in the sense of an author's personal in-joke. Or it could just be coincidence.
