FGS, that is difficult to read on the BB, think what it would be like in-game on a rotating billboard!

It's possible that Fitchley & Creak don't understand modern theories of marketing. But it's also possible that this is a cunning ploy to make pilots nose up to the billboard and peer closely at it to find out just what the hell it says ... It'll be especially trying for those pilots who overindulge in the ultraporn department. :D

Terrible - it used to be my mission to keep this thread on page one - and I found it languishing on page 3 (ain't RL(tm) a right-royal-pain-in-the-rear?!)

Anyway, it's been a while, so...

I will definitely, at some point, do a courier pack, with all my couriers in it!

Delectable. :) the image of the man needs a bit of tweaking though, so that it looks like it follows the curve of the tin.

I just updated Your_Ad_Here to version 4.1.4. (See the wiki)
  • * Main problem was that some of the textures were not used correctly since Oolite 1.74. because some of the methods used for the shaders don't work with current Oolite.

    * Griff updated all his shaders as described elsewhere. Now there is also some support for non shader systems added that became possible since Oolite 1.74.

    * I now added billboards as navigation beacon for the station and put the "C" beacon in the billboard instead of the station.

    * Fixed a bug with the station defenders on Linux systems.

    * Raised minimum Oolite to 1.74
These changes made it necessary that the sets itself had to be updated. But without access to the sets on Dr Nill's site I chose to only add updaters for the sets A till F. You must install them in addition to the sets (Or replace the shipdata.plist from the sets with the new one in the updaters)

With the new shaders, will some of the billboards be semitransparent 'holoos' now? :)
