Yup (sort of) - you pretend you're thinking of doing one of our very expensive Masters (in Defence Simulation & Modelling) and I book you in and security and you come for a look around.

(If I ever get the time to finish our 2nd Life Island - you'll be able to visit at least virtually).

Long way for you to come though isn't it?
A master setup! Reminds me of some of the aviation simulators I've been in the Netherlands.
Now someone get Oolite in a cinema :)
I've got some friends who work at a research centre where their 60ft wide 10ft high screen is sometimes used to play "Need for Speed" (and the like) or more recently Halo 3 (after work of course) - now I wouldn't mind having a look at Oolite on that.

If I could get in for anything other than officially sanctioned meeting - I would - "research centre" was perhaps being a little vague - although they did offer me a job recently - but playing oolite occasionally on a REALLY REALLY big screen wasn't a good reason to move back into the world I so recently left

Dark Station.

Approaching this was eerie...never seen a station like this before.

When I had my AMD/ATI card with the TroubleDriver that was a regular sight for me. Ships also did turn that way (or white, or all in the same texture, or some parts correct and subentities in strange colors like all-red)...

Maybe you should check your graphics driver. AMD/ATI did fix a lot concerning OpenGL in the past months, and recently they finally released updated drivers for "old" cards. Even if you're not using AMD/ATI, up-to-date drivers can help very much.

I wondered...yes I'm using ATI (3650) but I have the latest 9.9 driver installed.

Oddly enough - 3840x1024 doesn't come up as a resolution in Oolite Settings - it offers me 2400x600. In the log it reports it can't find this resolution a will use the default which is indeed 3840x1024...
IIRC the maximum resolutions Oolite will offer as options were clamped to avoid obviously ludicrous values... and here you come with an obviously ludicrous setup! :)

edit: from 1.74 onward Oolite shouldn't get confused by displays up to 5040x1800 - ie it won't have a problem with 3 1680x1050 monitors connected together, and a few other mad resolutions... I don't know if it would be wise to remove the max-resolution thing...

Ceinerxe is the end/begin point of Spaceway2-L3 in Galaxy 2 which runs from Ceinerxe to Isonza (Teonan Web region).

It is an important hub and 2 other space ways originate here. Dictator Ceiner IV rules the planet since 10 years. Ceinerxe is actually a big sea planet with an enormous sea-city much like Teraed in Galaxy 1.

Despite being a dictatorship it is also a holiday planet with luxury resorts. Last years the people of Ceinrexe even have some freedom. Of course questioning the dictator is still a crime but otherwise Ceinrexe can now be called a 'comfort world' and 'pleasant' to live on. This is also due to being a Navy hub. Officers ofter make planet fall to enjoy the hoopy nightlife and the pleasant artificial beaches.

For me, the clearly defined roads and canals give this planet the feel that it really is a large asteroid.

Best wishes,
