One of Griff's, looking real good.

I tracked this bandit for well over twenty minutes, at this distance and speed.
Not a shot exchanged. He locked onto me, then tried to give me a low speed, evasive flying lesson. Ha!
Like he was showing off. When I decided to let him go and turned away, then he came for me. Bad mistake.

I just love this game.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Wot he said...
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

I think these technically class as screenshots (or at least they're literally shots of screens!)

Apologies that I only had my lousy mobile phone camera (640x480) on me.

1st - my work Dell XPS 1730 (so 17" WS laptop - 2x 512MB GF9800 in SLI mode 1920x1200) connected to our 65" Plasma.

Image

2nd - The Matrox Triple Head 2 Go (TH2G) - 3840x1024 - X52 Pro sticks in the foreground (we normally use this as a helicopter flight sim - so LH is set up to be collective and RH the Cyclic - v. nice for Oolite too!)

Image

3rd - Climb over FP2.0 Lave

Image

4th - Banking away from the same

Image

5th - the briefly (in)famous money shot!

Image

Oddly enough - 3840x1024 doesn't come up as a resolution in Oolite Settings - it offers me 2400x600. In the log it reports it can't find this resolution a will use the default which is indeed 3840x1024...

Yup (sort of) - you pretend you're thinking of doing one of our very expensive Masters (in Defence Simulation & Modelling) and I book you in and security and you come for a look around.

(If I ever get the time to finish our 2nd Life Island - you'll be able to visit at least virtually).

Long way for you to come though isn't it?

A master setup! Reminds me of some of the aviation simulators I've been in the Netherlands.
Now someone get Oolite in a cinema :)
