Sadly, it was the French who nabbed 'em. They'll likely be released and told they can't have cheese for a month as punishment.

Although on the bright side, this may count as France's first Naval Victory in quite a long time. :P

What, since the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior?

The RW was sunk by the DGSE (Intelligence Service). I think you have to go back to WW2 (Operation Dragoon) or some of the Pacific theatre events, but I wasn't able to find specifics on their involvement in those.
