Ah... I remember playing that - inspiration for Status Quo, before the 'great pod scooping caper' of v1.65... :)

Cheers,

Drew.

Wow, now we have 1.01 & 1.40. Are there any other historical artifacts (1.20 maybe) anywhere? :)

Hi,

Long time no post, I think I was the 2nd test pilot after NoSleep

oolite_test1.dmg from 28th April 2004

This is version 01.01
Whow. It even runs under OSX 10.5. (Just killed 2 cobras with a new Jameson). Quite an evolution since that first version although the basic screen layout hasn't changed much.

Hi Rxke,

Yes, I still lurk on the regular ;) It's nice to see things evolving at a sensible pace, I even had a patch of regular playing & finally got my commander to Deadly :/

I donned my spacesuit to play Little Bears amazing Assassins OXP. Although I'm stuck somewhere near the middle...

I have most of the alpha test DMG's & most of the early beta's stored in the archives along with most old school OXP's.

Is it some sort of notable milestone that we not have retro versions of Oolite? ;-)

Any chance of anybody making either of these available again?

The oldest version that I've found a download for is v.1.52 on Berlios: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Oolite ... r_versions
