I'm currently playing deposed, and am searching for the pirates in the vicinity of Edorqu. Been travelling around for ages (maybe 10 hours real time) and have seen and destroyed one ship which I believe may have been part of the clan, but apart from that, nothing.
Have received many messages at various stations, including one from a sinister frog(!) and one informing me that the pirates were just in the system before I arrived, but as yet haven't been able to track them down.

Have you tried jumping out of the Edorqu system and back again, that should reset the hunt, if they are not in the system, F7 should give you a clue as to where they went next.
