Hi guys, as the title suggests, what exactly does it add?
I run Oolite on Windows XP - (latest version 1.72.2).
Thing is, it says it helps route-planning for longer journeys in the galaxy map. But how? I can't see any difference from before I had it.
Are there some options I'm missing? If I want to travel from one side of the map to the other for example (say for a cargo contract), I assumed route-planning would show me (perhaps graphically) the best route, or am I not doing something right?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Don't feel too bad, it took me a while to figure this one out too...
F6 twice to get to the galaxy chart, then locate your target destination (marked with a red 'x' if you have a mission) click your destination once so it's selected, and then press and hold shift-6 (^).
As long as you hold down the keys, the shortest route (least number of jumps) will be highlighted on the chart. If you want to save in-game time, however, such as during a time-limited delivery run, it pays to make more but shorter jumps whenever possible.
