Excellent! But what's a "luxury yatch"? Sounds like what happens if you eat too many chocolate-stuffed tree-grubs ... :D

'Luxury Yatch' is a reference to the original Elite Fer-De-Lance which is described as a Luxury Craft designed for the rich playboys. Trouble was it came with ample living quarters a built in fuel scoop and a sufficient cargo bay, its also a fast vessel too. Perfect for long voyagers in space, partying with the jet set. But this is also perfect for assassins who need to wait in space for long periods, for their prey to turn up. :)

I think he was perhaps implying that it may be a "Luxury Yacht" instead? ;)

Very nice textures there, DeepSpace. I can hear each and every one of them screaming "Normal map me!", though. Do you have plans for that?

Maybe. It would be nice to do them for the models. I'll wait for the official release with normal map support.
Does 1.72 support them?
If so how do I add them to the Ship.plist?

I could do a test first to see if they work well. If someone could answer the questions above. :)

No, 1.72 does not support normal mapping. If you would like to prepare your models for 1.73 from now, you can download Griff's normal mapped Cobra Mk3 from here and study shipdata.plist and the files inside the Shaders folder to see how it's all bound together in the game.

Edit: I am also splitting the thread. The screens you have posted are not actual in-game screens, plus I think that your work deserves a thread of its own.
