Ooliters Anonymous

Post by Lysander »

I am off to join Ooliters Anonymous, for anyone else interested it is in the real world in a scruffy hoopy bar just north of Watford on dark nights.

One month is enough for me, this game is so amazing life becomes a black hole! So its some tennis, summer sun and tripping in a van around France / Spain + some parasaling (yes, no copping out with the space bar up there I am afraid) See you again next winter when it gets dark, huge thanks to all those who advised - Thargoid, Another Commander Screet, Daddyhoggy, Aruman, and many others who helped out. And Rebecca should know that there is a OXP for threadfall in Pern if you hunt hard enough in one of the galaxies.

This all assumes it is not one great scam and none of you really exist - is there a great avatar in the sky who generates you guys to divert mugs away from reality?

Bye guys, over and out, Lysander

Well don't do anything rash like purging your hard drive of all things oo.

Step away, do some stuff, maybe occassionally pop back and pick up some cool new oxps. All things in moderation.

I've got one more ship to finish partially building (and a big surprise for the oolite community) then I think I will be taking a break too. :)

Hehe...I do exist, at least I do believe that I do ;) However, after growing up with the dogs of my father, I finally have my own...and she's quite good at keeping me away from Oolite unless it's too dark or rainy outside...

Screet, who once had over a year of online time playing a text-based multi user game and then leave because it took too much time while finishing studying ;)

I had a whole year off when my 2nd child was born - but I'm back and Oolite just got more amazing while I was away!

Thanks for the thanks Lysander - see you when it gets dark early...

It doesn't work, Lysander - I've tried!!!!

At least I've now managed to strike a balance between the garden, work, eating, making wine and then (and only then) getting down to real life.
