ATI rendering problems

Hi,

I've got serious problems with ATI hardware using Vista, including missing OpenGL speed and massive rendering failures.

I've started a thread covering this topic in the PC forum accordingly, but reading also bug reports from AMD forum, I found a linux user reporting a massive problem that probably can affect Oolite and which might also explain the problems I have running Vista.

Thus, if you are an ATI user with Linux, would you please have a look at this page of my PC AMD thread and see if you are experiencing the same problems?
