Just wanted to post this...

...because I was ("were") born in Leeds, but my parents moved down south when I was ("were") seven. Moved to the States because I married an American, and we returned to The North for a visit in 2006.

Someone closed the frigging chippie in the Broadlea part of Bramley. I was well miffed. And what the hell is a chav when it's at home? And an ASBO? Who the hell decided to change the language since I left?

Hmmmm. Thus, Robin Hood would nowadays get an ASBO?

Really, it's strange...concerning ASBO's and such, everytime GB tries to invent something new to turn down on their youth, there's german telepolis writing about it and an article forum full of people thinking about what they're doing wrong in GB, why the new ideas won't work and when our stupid politicians will implement the same things.

Strange times we live in, it seems that the downfall of all those pseudo-socialist nations changed things for the worse in our nations. Even the german Spiegel did report on that. My impression is, that the capitalist system and the pseudo-democracies we have (we cannot vote Siemens, Mercedes or the banks which do run our nations, only politicians who do what the companies tell them) finally reached a point where it demands people to behave anti-social to each other. Ill people nowadays are called parasites because they still need food, clothing and such but cannot work to "repay" for it.

I also had all of my windows hit with eggs...shortly after I tried to get the company who built this house to repair what they did wrong with all those windows. A year later a neighbour tried the same, with the same result, but believed that youth's would have done it...

The very funny point is, that I currently live in a place that's basically filled with people which have too much money, while I do not. When I run around, the youth's hanging around often greet me, while the older people obviously dislike me because of my long hair. Same as police, who's always hunting down people from foreign descent - since I've got long hair, they also don't like me anymore. They even made up a fake story and brought me to hospital to have me force-medicamented for several weeks. They drugged me up so much that I was almost unable to speak before they arranged for a fake court session and didn't even give me an attorney. It wasn't necessary to prove that I've done something, I was required to proof my innocence, but that was impossible, as police never makes mistakes.

If things continue this way, we will need Mafia to ensure social peace.

No. Apart from the occasional pensioner and chicken, ASBOs are dished out to the various ne'er-do-wells who spend their free time stealing from the poor. If they only had the foresight to set up a loans company first, they'd be fine. Robin Hood, however, stole money from the rich. That's a ghastly and unforgivable crime and usually results in instant death...

Especially when the rich is my Imperial Courier!
I shot him back first. That is to say, I read his mind and fired before he would have fired on me. No, sir, he wasn't a fugitive.

Okay, normal service is resumed. Roof over head + broadband connection = Happy Cmdr JohnnyBoy. 8)

No, I didn't move in an Anaconda. But I did use a Ford Transit (first load of crap taken to storage unit), a Luton van (bulk of crap taken on day of move) and a Renault Clio (leftover crap that wouldn't fit in the Luton). And I remembered DaddyHoggy as I passed Newbury on the A34. :D

Glad you're settled - if I'd know you were in the area I'd have invited you in for a cuppa!

Welcome back.

Nawwww, stalking is when he tells DH off for not shredding his bank statements before putting them in the dustbin.

Eh, DH?

By the way, tearing your bank statements into long strips then tearing widthways is not sufficient to prevent me someone from cellotaping them back together......

I've got a cross-shredder now, and do occasionally have a biggish bonfire made almost exclusively from bills and bank statements that are over 1yr old.

I sometimes forget that my RL(TM) is is available via my signature - although it's possible that I simply suspected that we're here to get away from RL(TM) and therefore nobody would read it... :)
