Well, where I came from, all puns are bad puns. They make you groan, not laugh. They're not funny, they're punny. For example:
On this circle there is a chord.
Like A major?
No, like a Honda.
Get it? accord...

Rotten vegetables? Nah, what you want is: "Get your juicy tomatoes, juicy tomatoes, still in their tins..." for literally maximum impact.

Hesperus once scoop-catapulted a cargo container of food at a pirate Sidewinder, and scored a kill.
It's a trick of amazing skill (or equally amazing luck) that we still talk about.

Hey! The front laser was cooked, the shields were down and if I rammed it (if I could get close enough to ram....), I'd probably have died.Cmdr Wyvern wrote:Hesperus once scoop-catapulted a cargo container of food at a pirate Sidewinder, and scored a kill.

I've always felt that Randomus Factoria or the Lord Giles favors you. Smashing a Sidewinder with an accelerated cargo container...What are the odds?
I for one am glad you're still among the breathing.
