space dust streaking when jumping disappears during eclipse

Jumping in from the ws beacon at reales with the sun behind the planet I was noticing how nice the eclipse effect is when the moment the sun disappeared completely behind the planet the star dust streaking effect disappeared.

It did not return until immediately prior to the mass lock on the station.

I thought it might be something to do with having available light to illuminate the dust when jumping but Im not sure.

just thought I'd post straight away in case I can't replicate it.

Yes, this is deliberate. Ships in shadow are supposed to be unlit, too, but this currently doesn’t work for ships with shaders.
