I think there's a limit to the number of system ship blurted out by stations. Seems a bit odd tho'.

Indeed, the limit is set by
max_defense_ships and
max_police_ships in the station's shipdata.
And my most glorious combat scene? ... Well, there were so many, weren't they? Perhaps in one of the worse anarchies, with two bands of pirates jumping on me, together with two or three renegades or stolen military ships. I had to take these out first, as multiple lasers can be quite annoying, depending on which side of it you're on.
Then the pirates one after the other, using the injectors to seperate them (some follow, some don't). And finally, when collecting the booty, blowing up one or two more pirates who--completely unjustified--claim their share. Total killcount? In the range of 15 to 20, as I like to slaughter multilaser ships slowly.
And each subentity gives a kill.
