what the... orb? okay, so i go witchspace hunting. plop into a large group of ships. as usual i get one or two before the navy nails the rest.... so i'm chasing cargo and inspecting the legal status of various ships when suddenly there is this explosion of objects somewhere behind me. some of them moving at a pretty good clip. i scoop some stuff and wander back to investigate.
lo and behold, this orb ship passes me by. i decide to keep on going, and suddenly there is this orb base ship in the middle of a profusion of ships... which all register as objects. the base station is blatting away in some gibberish looking com streams. over and over. i get close to it, and it moves away a bit and stops again. and starts blathering again. the only things that didn't register as objects were some police ships, and this photon torpedo i accidently ran into. glowing red. sorry about that, spock.
so basically i'm just tossing this, "what the..." out there and hoping some of you have some wisdom to impart. ^^
