And if you're looking at the posts-per-day statistics, it seems I am already the most productive poster. Perhaps I should do at least some of my other work every now and then?
i couldn't find a list of post-per-day stats - where are you looking to see that you're first? (you've got about 3 times as many per day as me...)
No, there is no list. I was just comparing the most likely of the other possible candidates, by looking at the profiles one by one. Hesperus came close. But most of the other top posters are considerably longer on the board than me. So their per-day average tends to be lower.
Anyway, it's perfectly possible that I missed the one who exceeds me by far; although I don't know who that should be.
It could be worse: A combination of a boring job with not much to do, A PC and a newly discovered forum had me averaging over 20 posts a day for about 18 months...
