Not sure if this is how it's ment to be but i see stars / dots through planets and space stations. Not sure about ships.

Can i make them solid somehow?

Using pc version with textured planets btw.

zeep: are you sure it’s not space dust you’re seeing? Space dust moves about (or rather, you move through it) while stars stay in place.

If I may draw your notice to the greenish mote on the upper edge, that is part of the background and doesn't move. As for planets, I keep forgetting to screen-capture an image of a planet 'going transparent' so that you can see the sun through it. I'll remember for next time, though.

Yes, I can see that what you’ve got isn’t space dust. :-)

I had the same problem before I installed a proper graphics card. The sun would "disappear" as soon as I got close to it (which I assumed was an anti glare feature of the HUD) and textured planets would start to break up as I approached. This was when all I had was the chipset of my SiS motherboard to process graphics - once I had a graphics card with proper drivers it stopped happening.
More of an annoyance than a serious problem though.

Seems it was indeed space dust. Thanks.
