In Oolite,  Elite (killer) has the advantage that you may well be approached for any mission with a minimum kill requirement. And the disadvantage that NPCs know about you - and some of the nastier ones will go out of their way to clobber you. See for example the  Green Gecko OXP.

Elite Trader exists as a title in the  Market Observer OXP - I'd be amazed if it has any affect on anything!

Elite Explorer also exists as a title in the Explorer's Club OXP. You will need to ask the Honorary Life President of the Guild of Explorers (Sir Wildeblood of the Yurt) exactly what it is good for.


None of these appear as titles on Library OXP's P.A.D. or on the "Reputations and awards" added by  GalCop Missions. Both appear on the Docked F4 screen if you have the relevant OXPs loaded.

I've just realised that the above can be misread. Sorry. The P.A.D. appears in the the docked F4 screen when Library OXP is loaded. Ditto for "Reputations and awards" & GalCop Missions OXP.

The Trading & Exploration ratings do appear on one of the F5 or F5F5 screens. As does one's Towbar rating and the Bounty Hunters' Guild rating.
