Okies - I've taken out the first couple of pOorates using a rear-mounted military laser, but that rear view just wasn't working for me; seemed like the placement was way too far forwards towards origin & much of the view was obscured by the hull, any target below the horizontal required a fair degree of roll/pitch to get 'em in sight & that can be a challenge in combat when yr looking backwards.. 8~)
I stared at the numbers in shipdata for a while, 'til I realised I was thinking in terms of Blender's co-ord system; made a lot more sense looking at the model in Wings3d. Anyways, I've settled for "0.0 11.57 -70.92" for the moment, looking to locate the view at the rear of the upper protrusion on the back of the hull; seems ok from a very quick test, hope to take it for a proper run later today; thoughts?
cheers!
Since you are the lead pilot of the new "Honorable Guild of Test Pilots" I will wait eagerly for your updated views of the ship, after you are satisfied please let me know so I can implement them.

I much prefer it; nice, clear view & the x-hair sighting works just fine (few less pOorates since those pics were taken *grin*). The co-ords were taken from the central vertex of that part of the hull in the 3d model, slightly rounded.

Good job, it certainly looks much better than the original ones, what coordinates did you use ?

She is a thing of genuine beauty - thank you for bringing her back to the spacelanes. My 'real life' (haha) commander will be putting this grrl on the bucket-list, be sure of that 8~)
Waiting to hear from my spawnling, think I've tracked down the 4-disc dvd set of Firefly; colour me excited!

I am a fan of the TV series as well, watched most of them on SyFy channel years ago. Same to "Dark Matter" I like the characters, never was much of a fan of the super-hero or the super-villain.

Added this to my game since, I am up to ships in the reinstallation process...
Loving the idea of this scifi western and thought would be much cooler if the Contextual Jukebox played the Ballad of Serenity (instrumental) when ever a player encounters the Serenity in non-combat situations.
