Unfortunately not - I sell old photographic gear and other collectables, and Sunday is always a very busy day for me - I generally go to multiple car boot sales, and pack a lot of stuff I've sold on line in the evening.

Gentlemen,
there are a whole group of you on that side of our planet.
As mentioned before, I'd be perfectly happy to bung a little dosh into your collective kitty if you wanted to organise your own get-together. As well as the three of you, there is also DAJT who surfaced briefly a year or so ago (and who wrote the original Windows version) and various others...
Cholmondely wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 9:38 pmI'd also be happy to help subsidise a round of pink gins somewhere in Australia - and also in Europe (Germany).

The last time I drove from Sydney to Brisbane the road sign said 999 km.Cholmondely wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 9:22 pmthere are a whole group of you on that side of our planet.

I thought you were pretty much all in Sydney, with just one or two outliers.Wildeblood wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 9:43 pmThe last time I drove from Sydney to Brisbane the road sign said 999 km.Cholmondely wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 9:22 pmthere are a whole group of you on that side of our planet.

IIRC, that sign wasn't near any particularly specific location. I think they just put it were it was so people could pass it and say, "Less than a thousand kays to go now, dear."

Surely participating in such a party would be an unparalleled experience (for me). But it takes me near three months (ideal) only to get a visa... But I don’t give up on this idea - besides, one pilot invited me to visit for tea

How about organising a "Roolite" do somewhere closer to your end of things?

Nope. There are oodles of them. Even here, on our English BB, there are oodles of them. And we've only seen a smidgen of what they have created...hiran wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 11:20 amThey already have one. Re: 1pm 7th July 2024 - Oolite Anniversary Party (London)
7th July, Tottenham Ct Road ... I might well be able to do that. I was sort-of planning a trip down the road to the Plains of Englandshire, so a bus into London (or for that matter, Oxford) is do-able.
Given the number of "I can't come in person, but could Zoom in ..." messages, would one of the attendees be able to commit to bringing a laptop (and speakers/ microphone?) so that the Zoom contingent could have a seat (in a corner, next to a power point). Does the pub have WiFi? Common, but not universal.

Interesting... Great idea and well done for organising something so cool.
I've reached out to drew and daddyhoggy to see if they're interested.
For myself that London is a logistical problem, but if I can work that out I'll do my best to be there.

Re: 1pm 7th July 2024 - Oolite Anniversary Party (London)
My geography of London is pretty vague (Overspill town boy - I generally need to be paid to go there) but, IIRC, tottenham Ct Road is approximately aimed to between Kings Cross/ St Pancreas for trains up the East coast, and Euston for trains up the West coast, and has at least two tube stations on or within spitting distance (Tott.Ct.Rd and Goodge Street) There's at least a third fairly close - I remember visiting an oil company about a job in Tanzania and dodging both University College and The School of Tropical Medicine - which was appropriately worrying - before exiting to Goodge St.
I can't actually remember any pubs along there - I was looking for interesting electronics - but I'm sure the target won't be too navigationally challenging.
