Boner!
Well yeah, but because it stands out against the black of space it almost looks like it emerges/leans forward from the planet.
It's a pretty good splash screen, without changing anything. I probably wouldn't go with an orange variant on the logo, as the image has a predominance of orange already.
Nite Owl, below are all the resources I used to create the splash screen image, including a 1920x1080 version of the planet image, which would mean you wouldn't have to blur the edges of the planet in your splash screen.Nite Owl wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 7:10 pmThat 8 MB's plus the 1920x1080 size are the reasons for not posting the image here. I've tried uploading a new version for one of the icons: "oolite-logo3.png", but I can't get the pages it appears on (for example:Oolite Main Page) to display it. Is there something we need to reset on the wiki server to get this to load? I'm wondering whether it might be simpler to load each new version as a new name (rather that uploading a new version of an existing image) to avoid this scenario.
None of them are showing on the pages they're used on.
[[File:oolite-logo3.png]]
, while Oolite Main Page uses (if omit some template substitution) [[Image:oolite-logo3.png|128px|link]], that use thumbnails.
