New ship AI for Oolite

I was wondering whether new AI algorithms could be introduced via OXPs.
An intersting one could be a bridge to ChatGPT. So the OXP would tell ChatGPT how Ooniverse looks like and the ship's status, asking what to do next.
And ChatGPT would give commands that the OXP then would carry back into Oolite to make the ship fly.

If only OXPs could send/receive network messages...
