BBC Elite Universe Editor

Post by Cody »

The Elite Universe Editor allows you to create your own playable universes in classic BBC Micro Elite. You can run it on the BBC Micro with 6502 Second Processor, on the BBC Master, on modern emulators, or right here in your web browser.

And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

That website's great.
It's also got the original model details for all of the ships.

I converted one of them by hand from the hexadecimal but it's a bit fiddley with internal triangles such as 'windows' and 'engines'.
If there was a nifty little program for converting them to .dat/.obj...

Well, I wouldn't recommend it for fun.
I probably should have chosen an easier one than the orbital shuttle but as a proof of concept it may be useful.

The fer de lance, asp, mk iii and moray may yet all display as once intended (..by me at least, even if no one else out there).
