Can I ask if that tweak as a standalone oxz didn't work for you? In order for it to work, of course, you need to tweak PS (in orbits.js that I sent for testing, this has already been done), but it works fine for me.

ii) I can go back to the old Planetary Systems and stick your js.script in my Scripts folder in AddOns.
iii) I can do something else...

Add to AddOns SWBeforePopulator.oxz;
Check if the planet and station are in the right place.

Nope. The original unexpanded .oxz downloaded from the Expansions Manager somewhat over a year ago... you see - you are rather better than you thought you were!
