Every ship of him I have looked to disqualify for a fix, a complete re-write would be necessary. However, if you use a minimized shipdata.plist, basically just model and textures, you can spawn them for pictures or just to shot at them.

Also, there is a style used for the shipdata.plist which makes them somewhat difficult to edit and mostly used in older oxp's,
so copying the model and textures into a working ship.oxp makes sense.
