Also noticed that the Set E download claims to need an additional file but no additional file is downloaded. Set E seems to work fine though according to my latest log and experience in game. Might just need a quick fix within the in game download manager to eliminate the dependency message.

Yikes. Too much copy-paste for one man it seems. Pack B now correctly updated to 4.5 and the dependency of Pack E fixed to a proper version. Thanks a lot for noting these. Now let's see what else does not work after the changes I did .

When you have the time take a look at "Your Ad Here Constores Only". This .oxp(z) no longer works with the updated versions of "Your Ad Here" due to the code changes you have made. You have moved all of the witchpoint and buoy information to the main file (oolite.oxp.DrNil.YAH.oxz) instead of having it spread out among the set files. The shipdata-overrides.plist in "Your Ad Here Constores Only" deals with the set files and not the main file. Adding and removing the appropriate lines in the "Your Ad Here Constores Only" shipdata-overrides.plist was fairly easy even at my low level of cut and paste tweaking. It did take some time and digging though to figure out what the cause of the problem was and where to find the proper code to cut and paste. My tweaked version does work so for a code master like yourself it should take no time at all given the fact that you wrote the code in the first place. For general consumption though it might be better if a new version of "Your Ad Here Constores Only" was released. Thank You for your time and effort.

Is anyone else having trouble getting constores to spawn? Ever since I updated to 4.5 I haven't been seeing them at all while they were appearing just fine in the last version. Zaonce, Leesti, Tionisla, they just aren't showing up anymore.

Thanks for reporting, Vader. I thought if I didn't touch it, it wouldn't break. In this case the populator. Well, I was wrong.

New version (4.5.1) is up.

Might it be nice if Your Ad Here included more advertisments for other oxps?

Even if it were only at the witchpoint buoy (and the solitary installed oxp) then you would have in-game advertisements/hints to other oxps: you'd learn about them as you play; becoming increasingly aware of the range and depth of what awaits via the download manager.

Of course some oxps might lend themselves to this approach better than others but then it's not a competition. Just a catchprase and a short blurb, it wouldn't even need a picture and (crucially) would remain merely background 'fluff' until the player acted upon (installed) it.

I do rather think that you are pretty good at this sort of thing.

I suppose that we could filch some of Charlie's ads from his Box account (most already now up on the Benulobiweed page: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Benulobiweed_Inc.).

So maybe throw in a few more ships.

That leaves equipment. Trackers. Fuel tanks. Military injectors. Hmm. Not so easy. HUDs should be easy. Ditto MFDs.

Could we do ambience ads?

How would we handle Strangers World? Or SOTL? - we could advertise that as a game, much like E:D was advertised.
