Thanks. There's such much malware these days that I wonder whether, on Windows, I should go back to running more than minimal real-time protection (aside from various browser addOns, that I do have). I might even need something (aside from the aforementioned addOns, together with security patches and a firewall) for Linux.
OO.. Linux is going winDoze.
The OS your using isn't so important. most have gotten quite good.

You worry to much. Real time protection? How real?

Face it.
No matter your OS. (Operating System) Only matters if you have internet.
Most, it's your Internet Provider that gives protection.
But you have to look at your usage of the internet to decide on level of protection required.

I live in a tent on a mountain.. Do I need Lockwood Dead locks?
Remember one thing.

DO FORGET TO BACK UP!~

Ach.. The car industry.
I have a perfectly running car.
But they want me to update it.

Nothing wrong with this one!
It's old.
Only 10.
Really old
It works.
But, don't you want a new one?
No
This one has new stuff.
Ye and how does that work? VERY wrong answer!
BS followed by more BS

NO I like this one. It works.
For how long?
See these old cars? Made before your parents died, ye! They are still running!

UPGRADES
CHOOSE with thought.
LOOK OUT!!!
OOPS..
"Press Space" Commander
If you do not see "Press Space" more often than you want.. Your not trying!
