Arthur: OK. Leave this to me. I'm British. I know how to queue.
OR i could go with

No, this topic is in the oxz as info url. Changing the WIP in topic title (the subject of first post) to Release is enough.spud42 wrote:should i do a release post? separate from this post?

After almost 2.5 years in the making, it's nice to see this project finally bear fruit!
Congratulations on your new baby, Spud!

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Re: Eagle transporter [Release] and Mulga MkII[WIP]
Like any father i only had a little input. cbr and Norby did the hard yards in the creation of the OXZ .
i even had help with the command module which i couldnt quite get right in wings3D. I cant remember who helped so sorry for not mentioning you. but you gave me the basis from which i spent hours tweaking each little vortice to get a shape i could live with. the Texture is taken from a paper model set of sheets and still really needs tweaking on the spine as it distorted the round pipe ends.
i got official permission to use the artwork from the paper model sheets author so all is good.

Just curious, anybody still maintains this OXZ ?

Re: Eagle transporter [Release] and Mulga MkII[WIP]
Great . cbr, I will create a standard wiki page for the ships, please have a look after I am finished. Btw while getting the data for the page I recognized some bugs in the shipdata.plist. Do you have update-rights ?

I believe Norby took care of the oxz-managing part.

Since phkb will help us with the update, your gift for graphics is required. The Eagle Transporter could use a normal map, maybe another diffuse map for the escort ?

Re: Eagle transporter [Release] and Mulga MkII[WIP]
wiki page is updated.
EDIT: Is anybody using the player versions of this ship now ? I will change the keys, therefore if nobody is using it I could skip the backwards compatibility.

Re: Eagle transporter [Release] and Mulga MkII[WIP]
Been looking at this and thinking of adding it to my game as I vaguely remember watching Space 1999 as a young man. Didn't know it was known as a Eagle Transporter and it's a pity I can't see it here, all the pictures have been since removed.
Changing the topic, has anybody attempted the Star-Bug or the Red Dwarf?

Right on Commander!!
