Dice game needs polishing and Oolite's mission screen restrictions don't exactly make it easy to write nice interfaces. The game is quite addictive though, once you get into it. I'll be doing something about it when I get some inspiration.

But in the meanwhile, here's Video Poker added to your pleasure. And this one played quite nicely to begin with and after polishing it, I think it's quite nice and intuitive. And quite addictive too. You'll loose your gems quickly, if you're not careful.

Yes, it's an addon that adds gambling options to all Con Stores. YAH and at least one ad-pack are required for it to work.

Now to think about it, maybe YAH Ad removal OXP might be handy? In case someone just wants the Constores without the ads.

I've done quite a few changes in YAH to make it better and since wiki is still being repaired, I have uploaded all I have done so far to my box. If you're interested in testing, I would be very happy about it. Things have changed under the hood, so it's more than likely that I have accidentally broken something. Although I've been extra careful .

YAH + ad packs version 4.3
* Keeper's fixes included. Constores have their identity colors back and model/texture mess up with sidewinder has been corrected.
* Constores now have 1-2 patrol ships on duty around the station.
* Sidewinder defender's weapon has been downgraded to beam laser.
* Billboards now rotate ads like Station Ads OXP does.

yah_constores_only 1.0
* A simple oxp that suppresses all other billboards than Constores' own navigation billboard. In case you don't like billboards everywhere, but would like to have Constores.

yah_gem_casino 0.3
* Adds two gambling games, a video poker and a dice game, to constores. This version has a more polished dice game than version 0.2.

An update. Again . Now I'm about done here. Hopefully. New versions of YAH and Ad-packs and a new version of the Gem Casino.

YAH (4.3.1):
* Tamed the station reaction behavior a bit when a patrol ship gets attacked.

Ad-packs (4.3.1):
* Now that the ads change, I needed to critically look at some of the ads. The ones that are someway physical in nature. There were two in pack B and one in pack D. B had two "broken" ones and D had one vandalized one. In B I left the BSOD in and if it gets chosen, the billboard will not change ads. It's broken you know . The smashed one from B I replaced with a new ad from the unused ones I salvaged from the thread for the station ads OXP. The sprayed one from D I also replaced with a new unused ad. It's not exactly malfunctioning and changing the ad takes the sprayed text away. So the ad just does not work when ads get changed.
* Fixed a stupid indexing error.

Gem Casino (0.4):
* The intended four games are now included. You can play dice, video poker, blackjack and holdem with gems.
* The final stage of the dice game has been fixed.

Thanks . I think they came out pretty good in the end considering mission screen limitations. And you're right, the cards are a bit dark. I brightened them up a bit with emission_map and emission_color and they are much better. I'll put the updated version up when the wiki is accepting uploads again.

YAH + Ad packs 4.3.1: Variety of fixes. The most notable changes are patrols around the Con Stores and the live billboards that periodically rotate ads.
YAH Gem Casino 1.0: Adds gambling activities to the Con Stores. Games by spara, cards by CaptSolo.
YAH Constore Only 1.0: Suppresses all buoy and asteroid billboards, but the Con Store one. This is for you if you want the stations, but don't like to see the ads all over the place.

And as a reminder, these complete the set:

YAH Fuel Station 1.0: The standard YAH does not allow you to fuel at the witchpoint since it's changes the game balance quite a bit. It's disabled to keep the OXP "safe". This OXP enables the fueling feature.
YAH Witchpoint Override 1.0: Suppresses witchpoint billboards.
YAH Constore Remover 1.0: Suppresses the constores. This is for you if you like the billboards, but dislike the Con Stores.

And then there's YAH Mobile 1.0: Adds mobile billboards to the lanes. I have not checked if this is still functional after the changes I have done. I'll check it when I have some spare time and inspiration.

Indeed. I think that set H was very close to release at time, but is apparently lost now. I tried to contact DaddyHoggy for it, and actually managed to establish a contact, but he never came back to it. I have salvaged as much of the unused ads in the thread as possible, but some are probably lost forever.

OXPs that use some set of these ads are YAH, Market Observer and Station Ads. Salvaged ones can currently be seen in Market Observer and Stations Ads. There's probably enough for one new set, but that would require a brand new shop brand. I think Keeper has actually done something that could yield a new shop brand.

But yes, make some nice new ads and if they're nice enough I'll put them directly to the Market Observer and Station Ads. And if someone comes up with a new brand with nice neons and everything so that there is a new station, then it's time for a new YAH set.

PS In response to another thread about licensing: the above image and all images I post on this thread can be considered licensed under GPLv3. Anyone is free to copy, share and use my images without charge.

Nice. May I suggest licensing with CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 since that's what people mostly use here. I honestly don't know anything about the different licenses, but I'm anticipating that this might be a problem at some point. Mainly because YAH uses CC-BY-NC-SA license.

Now that I checked, there seems to be 117 ads that are used in Market Observer and Station Ads, but are not used in any YAH set. There are 50 ads/set so there are enough ads for two new sets.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll just find a way to create new ad packs without new stations.
