No panic! Or is there any reason for her not to withdraw in the coming weeks?
Well, she's now due to become our unelected PM (hurrah for British democracy!) sometime on Wednesday, it looks like - Cameron apparently can't wait to get shot of the whole affair - but I suppose there's still time for her to rule herself out of the contest before then. Tricky political manoeuvre to pull off, though, when you're running unopposed (hurrah! again). And there's always the possibility that she'll emerge from her first briefing as PM, ashen-faced, on Wednesday afternoon, mouthing obscenities before tottering away to jump into the Thames.

Apparently, Britain has changed Prime Minister twenty-four times in the past century - half of 'em without a general election.

Theresa May is at least honest about what she's offering the country:

Hammond becomes Chancellor, Osborne resigns from the Government (good), and Boris becomes Foreign Secretary... hmm!

Definitely the right guy to lead negotiations with EU. I don't know if I should laugh or cry...

Boris will be off cycling along the Great Wall or something...
David Davis has been appointed to the new cabinet position of secretary of state for exiting the European Union - or "Brexit secretary".

As strange as it sounds, but this might actually be a good idea. I wonder, how many Brexit secretaries will follow him.

You have to wonder what sort of person, when choosing a Foreign Secretary for a real, non-sitcom country, thinks that "racist clown" might be what they're looking for.

Anyway, the serious business has now begun - Pakistan won the toss and are batting!

A bit dusty in here... and still no zombies reported. Apparently, if you like HP Sauce, you're a Leave voter! <sniggers>

Indeed but things were never going to pan-out too quickly. The fan is still a good year away, and the sh*t is still heading for it, so we won't really know the reality for a while. Shame about the zombies, though - I thought they'd be along sooner. :)
Fascinating article as well - thanks for the link.
