Second the above, a Lavian Hot Cocoa option, maybe a Zaoncean Caramel Latte, Orrere Fruit teas, should all be available. I believe you can get some of them at Starbooks

Don't forget Mossfoot's "special" tea, while you're at it..

Is that the one that requires 1t narcotics in the hold in order to brew properly?

No.. but it would require some liquor/wines..

Mind you, 1TC of booze ought to last one hell of a long time.. probably the rest of the Commander's life.

Assuming you drink about 1/2 litre of bourbon a day it should last about 6 years.

1/2 litre of bourbon a day is a LOT of tea..

And I don't go along with your assumption that 1TC equates to 1 metric tonne of alcohol. The sheer volume of a canister makes that highly unlikely.

An interesting discussion on that point begins here:

the classic error is that a TC is not a Ton(ne) - it is some special mass/volume designed specifically for space cannisters and their contents.

The TC is a fantasy unit used only to obfuscate discussions such as this. The unit used in the ship's manifest is t(on(ne)), and it is definitely the case that 1t = 1000kg = 1000000g.

Well, we all have our favourite handwavium to explain the highly illogical Ooniverse.. you stick to yours, and I'll stick to mine.

Yes, but if you drink half a litre of bourbon a day, then six years is a pretty good life expectancy. :)

In my estimation the sort of people who drink bourbon are the sort of people who would drink 1/2 litre a day. Perhaps my prejudices are showing.
