To the devs

My 9yr old daughter was watching me play Oolite and says to me, "This is like the best space game ever!" I had to agree, and thought you'd like to know.

It would be interesting to hear her try to pronounce her fathers board name. Hope she just uses Daddy.

Well, the Smivslets aren't quite so impressed - "What are you doing Daddy? Oh no! Not Oolite again!"
Having said that Big Smivslet (who is seven) is quite fascinated by the way I can 'draw a picture' and then make it appear as a spaceship and fly it around. Leanings towards the Darkside, maybe? Thinking about it, she is very fond of cookies... :)

My son (7) watched me for about an hour, the first time he saw me playing. The days thereafter, he continuously drew spaceships, models of HUDs on every paper he could find. Inventing some nice features too.
My little Daugher is ignoring my PC activities.

Best space game ever? Hey, how many Space Games have you shown to your youngster? :P

phkb is an acronym for "play hard, kick butt", so not really pronounceable. She normally just uses "daddy".
