Oolite 1.80 - wow!

Post by Micha »

Just wanted to say wow; Oolite looks like it's really come along since I last looked in! Congrats to the devteams, modders, and fans on the excellent evolution of this most excellent game!

While I still don't have much time to get reinvolved, I did just want to pop in to say g'day and well done :)

Welcome back. Yes Oolite keeps still developing. :D
In fact it often develops so fast that you can feel lost if you've been a few weeks away. :D

Greatest game of all time IMO. (at least the greatest Elite like game of all time).
A big bow to the core team for keeping at it. And of course the great community.

[Off topic]
I mean I watch Elite Dangerous very closely. I have still to play it. But seen from the videos Oolite still offers more gameplay.
But I know its too early to say. Its now in Gamma and there are no injected events yet.

I want to thank the community for this fantastic game. Yesterday I installed the new Version 1.8 under Windows on my old iMac. Sadly, Mac OS doesn't recognize my Trustmaster gamepad, Windows does. It's now no problem to dock on a station without the docking computer. With keyboard only it was a little bit tricky. Fighting with the keyboard? Yes, I fight against my keyboard. With the gamepad it's pure fun now.

Keep on with Oolite.

Been playing version 1.80 for a while now, Oolite has evolved into a fun space-sim that can hold its own against others... :)

Hey!

I figured this was as good a thread as any to say a quick hello, since it's a similar topic to what I was going to say.

I just wanted to thank everyone on the boards here for being awesome and the devs for their tireless effort on Oolite. You helped rekindle a love in me I never thought I'd feel again in quite the same way. You've made a lot of other people happy too, even if they never come to the boards here to say it out loud :)
