Cool.. I'm using your system as a rough benchmark for building my own, soon as I can get the $$$ together..
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

That's the difficult part - took me a while!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Ouch! Been there, done that! Mind you, I need new glasses anyway - and they do come rather expensive these days!

Same my frames have had it and the lenses aren't as strong as they used to be. Think I'll get cheaper frames this time though last time I decided to treat myself and got some nice designer frames but instead this happened:

Shame really but next time I'll just get normal frames!

Stuff designer frames! I always go for titanium (lightweight and durable), and high RI lenses.

Going to go for some lenses for driving myself. Been relying on clip-on tinted lenses too much. They work but can be easily knocked off. (Used them for 1st team cricket scoring mostly... cuts down on the glare whilst you are in the scorebox.)

If you live in the UK go to Tescos for free eye test (no obligation) then Asda for the specs. They were doing 2 for £140 last time I went (cheaper if you didn't want Designer or frameless), and I got a frameless with vari-focal lenses + sunglasses also varifocal and frameless.
